Director of Sport and Physical Education - Permanent Full time

Commencing – Start of 2019 school year or to be negotiated

Medbury School is seeking an inspiring and innovative professional with exceptional communication and inter-personal skills to lead, manage and develop all areas of our comprehensive sporting and physical education programmes.

Medbury has a strong sporting focus and is recognised by parents and educators as one of Australasia’s leading independent preparatory schools for the education of boys from Years 1 to 8. Catering for dayboys and boarders, Medbury offers small class sizes, personalised learning programmes and a balance of traditional values and modern pedagogy to provide the best possible start for our boys and engage them in a lifelong learning journey.

The Director of Sport and Physical Education is supported by a Physical Education Teacher, and the academic teaching staff are fully involved in school life, including sports.

Applicants should have a strong knowledge and understanding of a wide range of sports, experience in reviewing sporting performance and leading improvement, a commitment to the highest standards of sportsmanship and fair play, and most importantly, a desire to help us ‘Unlock Every Boy’s Potential’.
